The first pop-up mall

Boxpark in London is the first pop- up mall in the world. Boxpark is a temporary mall with 61 small units. The concept is developed by Roger Wade from Boxfresh and consultancy Brands Incorporated. Their idea was to use containers to create units for fashion, art and lifestyle. They use the containers as shop and creating unique, low cost, low risk pop-up stores. Boxpark give also the possibility to relax on the first floor. There is a catering and there is enough place to relax for a lot of people.

The consumer is continuously looking for new experiences, quality and innovation. They are becoming more demanding in choosing our leisure activities. Boxpark is a living community of brands with talent, innovation and attitude that puts creativity and fashion back where they belong: on the street. The stores will not get bored because the shops come and go.

The empty teeth cause problems in the cities. It slowly becomes extinct. The rent is too expensive and there is a lot of competition. Pop-up mall can give the solution for this problem and offers possibilities. The shopkeepers are not tied to anything and the shopping streets are filled again.
